Granada is 2 hrs 45 minutes from Seville by train. Check here for train schedule – https://www.thetrainline.com/en/train-times/seville-to-granada

We bought the tickets from the Santa Justa station on the same day itself. From our apartment to the santa justa station is about 20 mins by bus. So, we aboard the 7.45 AM train to Granada and reach our destination by 10.30 AM.

Here we visit the Alhambra. Its massive – and my imagination runs wild as to how the life would have been here a few centuries ago. Beautiful structure and even more beautiful gardens. We have our lunch in the cafe in the Alhambra. and enjoy the place. We have already been to enough chapels and cathedrals so we totally avoid those in Granada. While on a stroll in the alleys of Granada, we encounter a signboard “Universidad de Granada” and decide to explore its interiors. We enter into the Galeria Audiovisual and see the students around – chatting away in the corridor and a few studying. Since I have been walking for a long long time, we sit down here for a quarter of an hour. It is the “Centro de Lenguas Modernas” (The University Modern Language center).

We take the afternoon train back to Sevilla and reach by sunset. A little exhausting day today after 3 days of constant walking and exploring. We go for dinner to a nice vegan restaurant and end the tiring day with good food.
